Alexis McDonald is a dedicated fitness professional with a passion for empowering others through movement and mental well-being. A proud UT Austin alum, Alexis holds certifications as an ACE Group Fitness Instructor, NCSF Personal Trainer, and Strength & Conditioning Coach, along with additional specialties in Pilates Mat, Pumped Up Strength, Barre Above, LaBlast Fitness, Human Reformer, Schwinn Cycle Instructor, and more. Her diverse career includes working with boutique fitness studios like Orangetheory and F45, where she cultivated her expertise in coaching and programming. Now serving as the Assistant Director of Fitness at the University of North Texas- Rec Sports, Alexis oversees the group fitness program, personal training services, and weight room facility, fostering a welcoming and inclusive fitness environment. Alexis is deeply committed to promoting mental health and helping others achieve balance in both their physical and emotional well-being. Whether mentoring instructors, designing innovative programming, or leading a class, she combines her knowledge and compassion to inspire growth, resilience, and confidence in the fitness community.
