We’ll begin by defining posture and understanding its impact on both training and everyday activities. Common posture-related issues such as kyphosis and lordosis will be explored, highlighting how they affect movement patterns and increase the risk of injury. Practical tools for assessing posture will be introduced, along with simple, effective corrective exercises that can enhance training outcomes and reduce harmful habits that contribute to poor posture. By the end of this session, you’ll have actionable strategies to improve posture, optimize performance, and support long-term health.

There is a Outdoor enthusiast demographic headed toward the fitness realm. Are you ready for them? In this session I will cover activities such as Rock Climbing, Hiking, Backpacking, Snowboarding/Skiing, Mountain biking, Cycling, mountaineering, and more. I want to give you the tools to train your clients to reach their goals in these activities. I will explain what muscle groups are most utilized in these activities and demonstrate what activities you can do in the gym to help them achieve their goals outside the gym. Sample workouts for these activities will also be shared.

Our goal is to help maintain and improve physical fitness, mobility, and overall well-being so that this clientele continues to live a vibrant and fulfilling life. We will focus on strength training exercises that are safe, effective, and tailored to the needs of older adults. We emphasize functional movements that help perform everyday activities with ease and confidence, such as getting up from a chair, carrying groceries, or climbing stairs.
